The 160 LBS Ridge Tent is a heavy-duty canvas field shelter built for armies, peacekeeping missions, and defence logistics units that demand long-term durability over a large footprint. Constructed from 510 GSM cotton canvas with a classic ridge pole configuration, it provides robust weather protection across extreme temperature ranges — heat, cold, and heavy rain.
The design has been trusted by defence forces for decades. Centre pole construction gives maximum internal headroom for field operations, briefings, or troop accommodation. The heavy canvas breathes naturally, reducing condensation and maintaining a liveable interior temperature without mechanical ventilation.
Manufactured by Nizam Tents — a vertically integrated defence and humanitarian shelter manufacturer since 1869. All tents produced in-house across weaving, treatment, stitching and finishing. Available for bulk procurement with full traceability documentation.
