The Bivouac Half Tent is a lightweight individual shelter half designed for infantry, special operations, and light infantry units that move fast and carry everything on their backs. Two shelter halves button together to form a complete two-person tent — giving a patrol the flexibility to split into individual bivouacs or combine for a shared shelter depending on the mission and weather.
Weight is the enemy of mobility. The Bivouac Half strips the shelter down to its minimum: a single angled canvas panel, two poles, and a handful of pegs. It pitches in under five minutes, packs into a small roll, and adds negligible weight to a field load. In rain, it keeps a soldier dry. In wind, it provides enough break to maintain body temperature through a cold night.
Manufactured by Nizam Tents since 1869. Supplied to national armed forces and peacekeeping operations worldwide. Bulk procurement with full compliance documentation available.
