The beam configuration distributes roof load along the ridge rather than a single point, giving superior structural performance under snow load and sustained wind.

Where a centre-pole tent forces personnel to work around an obstruction, the GPM Beam gives the full floor. That matters in a field kitchen serving 50 personnel, a maintenance bay with vehicles partially inside, or a medical post with equipment laid out in rows.
